The Project BLOOM Fellowship helps justice-impacted adults build lasting economic stability through paid employment, hands-on training, career development, and mentorship. Fellows earn a paycheck while gaining real-world experience, professional references, and the confidence to pursue what comes next. Bloom Fuel Bar is our first social enterprise and fellowship track.

Hands-on experience that opens doors.
Bloom Fuel Bar is Project BLOOM’s first social enterprise and fellowship track. Fellows earn paid, hands-on experience supporting the business behind every product placement—from production and packaging to inventory, fulfillment, delivery, and partner support. Through this experience, Fellows build transferable skills, professional references, and a strong foundation for their next opportunity.

Paid W-2 Employment
Fellows earn a paycheck while taking on meaningful responsibilities within Bloom Fuel Bar’s production and business operations.
Career & Life Skills
Hands-on training builds communication, teamwork, digital literacy, time management, problem-solving, and workplace confidence.
Coaching & Individual Support
One-on-one coaching, goal setting, and connections to resources that help Fellows navigate housing, transportation, childcare, and other barriers.
Financial Capability & Entrepreneurship
Practical guidance in budgeting, credit, saving, and financial decision-making—along with exposure to how a real business operates.
Leadership & Peer Community
Cohort-based learning, mentorship, and peer support create opportunities for Fellows to build confidence, lead, and eventually mentor others.
Pathways Beyond the Fellowship
Each Fellow develops an individualized transition plan with professional references, career support, employer connections, and pathways toward advancement or entrepreneurship.

Prospective Fellows can apply directly or be referred by reentry organizations, courts, and community partners.

Intake & Enrollment
Through a one-on-one intake process, we learn about each applicant’s strengths, goals, support needs, and readiness for the Fellowship.

Onboarding & Training
Selected Fellows become paid W-2 employees and receive training in workplace expectations, food safety, production standards, and Bloom Fuel Bar operations.

Work, Learn, and Grow
Fellows take on meaningful responsibilities while participating in coaching, cohort learning, financial capability training, and professional development.

Plan What Comes Next
Each Fellow develops an individualized transition plan for long-term employment, advancement within Project BLOOM, continued education, or entrepreneurship.

Stay Connected
Alumni remain connected through mentorship, peer community, continued coaching, and access to new opportunities.
A WEEK IN THE FELLOWSHIP
Work, learning, and support—built into every week.
Fellows work approximately 32–40 hours each week. Most of that time is spent gaining hands-on experience within Bloom Fuel Bar operations, with coaching, workshops, and cohort learning intentionally incorporated into the workweek.
Schedules may vary based on business operations, training needs, and each Fellow’s individualized development plan.

The Project BLOOM Fellowship is designed for justice-impacted adults in the Tulsa area who are ready to earn, learn, and work toward greater economic stability. No previous beverage, wellness, or business experience is required.
How to connect
Prospective Fellows may apply directly or be referred by a reentry organization, court program, community partner, or other trusted organization.

We encourage you to apply if you:
- Are 18 or older and have been impacted by incarceration or the criminal legal system
- Are interested in building stable employment, practical skills, and long-term economic mobility
- Can participate in a structured 32–40-hour weekly schedule, with reasonable accommodations
- Are willing to learn hands-on production, fulfillment, inventory, delivery, and business operations
- Are open to coaching, cohort learning, financial education, and professional development
- Live in or can reliably participate in programming within the Tulsa area
